Partiro: Thats true, its a intriguing subject though
Intriguing is not the only word i would use. I do believe that eventually the innermost secrets of the Human mind and our perception of existence will be explained to a degree that we only can fantasise about now.
It is a little like what Einstein said about Sub-atomic physics. "It is like trying to figure out how a clock works, merely by looking at it from the outside"
Have you looked at AI and the possibilities or not of it working?

I havent really explored it at all from my limited knowledge of it, it certainly plausible but one of its drawbacks that I can see is its is basically a computer program and would lack human qualities, I hope I've explained that well enough

But keep reminding them that we taught them how to make whiskey
There used to be a saying "the Scottish invent, the Germans perfect, and the Japanese mass produce"
Not sure if it is relevant nowadays as China has taken over from the Japanese for mass production.

There is some really strange work being done on this area now, thay have connected up the neurons from a mouses brain and interfaced it with a computer to successfully produce the fastest processor known. was tested on a US jet bomber!
