maybe you are correct, just looking for friends at this time though but i do see your point.An online friend told me that he thinks there is more than one soul mate i am tending to believe him after all don't you believe you are in love when you think you are? does that make sense? probably not but that is how i see it otherwise why do people keep searching? at a loss here, maybe it is that people put themselves in a delusional state which would make it voluntary, man what a walk of life huh? but thanks for dropping in and do it again even just to say hi.

Maybe some people are shy, afraid that to be on, even to view a site such as CS is somehow an embarrassment. We may be all be "liberated" since Mary Robinson took the train to Belfast, but it is still a country of squinting windows. Hence so may members of CS with no photos ?

A female work colleague of mine recently said to me in what I thought was a joke "I suppose you are on a dating website" - to which I just had to just had to send her an email "and if I was, how would you know, unless of course you were on the same one ?" Still wainting on her reply !

im on this other site called plenty of fish, and i was lookin at one girls profile, and i noticed some guy left a testiomonial on her page.. sure enough, it was a guy that lives like 5 mins away from me and i know him pretty well!! ive never said anything to him bout it cause i dont want him knowing im on it too! but its mad! cause im only from a small village.

ohhh ya'll are right, didn't think of it but that makes a lot of sense, wish people were more outgoing and online dating or friend making imo is fine especially when the pickings are slim in the area in which you live in like me.I have been through a couple of break ups but got back on the horse so to say to ride but not everybody is like me hmm? i should know everybody is different i just forget sometimes how shy some people can be.As for the pics Peter i was shy at first but like a good online friend reminded me you can't hit the ball if you don't swing and that also goes for break ups too,cathy and you are among a few of us that aren't shy in that fact so maybe we can draw a few more good people out and just say "hey we are just crazy normal people too" and it dosen't have to be anything other than online friends, which i think if it goes further should be private anyway but that is after all just my opinion, thanks for dropping in Ramona(my real name)

i don't see why it is embarassing it's not like it is a naked peepshow site or anything but i do understand in a way, in another way i think it is a stigma that will pass and soon, especially for those that live in small places i don't know how small ya'lls are but mine is only 1,300 people time to get online, oh and hello tam you are not shy guy

Well the vast majority of threads are complete nonsense games and over-emoticonised crap. I've been here for over a year and a half and only about 5% of the threads would motivate me to post a reply. In saying that, some of the 95% of nonsense threads are one's I've created.....

Soo that is why there is so much crap floating around eh? well Johnny i would not take credit for that in a million years i tell you! nah, actually it meant something to somebody at the time they were posting that nonsense thread so you have to look at it like that, it meant something to someone.Now that is not to say that sometimes you drink and keyboard and don't make a whole lot of sense, have been there and done that but the fact of it is is we keep comming back, there is always somebody at home here.I have tried other sites and just don't go to any other, i know people on here are good, well the majority of us are, there are some haters out there that we can't do anything about, it is their issues but the most of us are just regular old joes, meaning just us in a heap.So actually you should post more than make the threads since most you said are from you! just kidding with you guy, join in more no matter what because somebody is always looking, take care,R
