I have fundamental Christian beliefs, try to be a decent human being, find peace in reading the Psalms or walking thru the woods .My relationship with God is my buisness and yours is yours.I leav th preaching to others .
I was raised in an Evangelical church, which my mother still attends. I have people there that I have known all my life and consider family because of it, however, I have not attended that church since 20 y/o. I disagree with judging each other and find the cliques and condescending attitudes based on your "attendance" at church in direct reference to your relationship with God or "worth" distasteful. I have found that there are people everywhere - those who believe in God and those who don't - that are good decent people who truly care about others without trying to restrict each others lives. My walk in life should not be dictated to me by other people here on earth, but what I feel is right for me to take me where I want to go. Attending church because your absence would draw suspect and phone calls to get you back asap, or showing up at church to promote an image having nothing to do with who you are or what you do in life - both ridiculous. You should not have to shout who you are from the rooftops, your life should be evidence enough of being on the right path for you...
