We've had a few snowfalls, but thankfully it's all melted.
It'll be coming back to stay soon enough though. Other parts of the country have permanent snow already, and it won't leave until late March or April. Give me a couple days notice, I only have one bed in the house and the couch is out in the shed right now while I'm finishing the renovations.
Would hate to see someone having to sleep on the floor.

Funny how many people have been here, are coming here or are from here, Alberta that is. I've been planning my escape from the brutal winters for a while now. Bought a place in southern British Columbia earlier this year and can't wait to move.
Much milder and shorter winters, scenery, wildlife and a slower pace. It'll be a while yet, so come on over, I'm sure I have a hammock somewhere.
