i think its just ladies are fed up with idiots posting and when a genuine email comes in just not answered other than that it could be your emails bit to brief
trick is to get a reply is dont just say one or 2 lines make it interesting talk about yourself and why you interested in the lady what attracted you to her profile show in your email that you actually have read what she says in profile

i do actually put a lot of effort into writing it, but maybe not enough, or im writing about the wrong things, practise makes perfect i guess! I dont wanna be tagged as a moaner or whatever, its just frustrating when you've been a member for so long and there has been no replies at all like!
dont worryu about it m8 lot of my emails get no replies so not just galway either

just had a quick glance at your profile a suggestion be that you change primary pic to either 2nd or 4th pic your current pic dont do you any favours m8 and women might just glance at pic of sender and decide not interested

Hate to say it but from the replies of shock I get when I do reply to that initial mail )which I ALWAYS do!) is does seem the norm across the board!
FYI same goes for the guys too! I have tried to contact guys first and they dont reply as well! People seem quiet comfortbale being extremely rude online, is it because they are looking at a screen and dont realise there is another person at the other end who took the time to write to them in the first place? 
Then again people have got much ruder and disrespectful over the last few years! One great thing about recession!
Makes people more humble and grateful for what the have including the people in their lives

i think its just everyone is not going to settle for anything less than what they want no matter how long it takes, myself personally i take as it comes. if that makes any sense to you

Why don't u try2 organise a CS meet? choose a date and place, people like going out in galway, and it will be a good chance to meet local CS members (Possibly!!!
