If you have ever lived away from home.. Was there anything in particular that you missed?
I lived in New York for a while.
I had to have Barrys Tea and Chef Brown Sauce.... Not togetherlaugh
When I moved back home I missed..The Daily News..
Real Corned Beef..and Hot dogs...
No smart answers...

when in england i missed the irish wit,sarcasm,analagies(spelt-wrong) the lot...prob was either too filthy or too posh kinda talkin...

while in canada i missed my spuds no one cooks spuds there i also missed my lyons tea bags n real butter

ah spuds!!! can neva understand how our food namely,bacon n cabbage,colcanon etc,.. didn`t conquer the culinary worlg like far east cuisine did? christ they take a birds nest made of spit! sell for$40!!! and we can`t with the wonderful spud??? go figgure..lol...rolling on the floor laughing

dont drink tea anymore but the nearest i cud get to a decent cuppa then was tetley instead of all these earl greys n camomile n green teas lol

By the time I left NY even the supermarkets were selling some of the Irish Stuff...

Never lived abroad.

But anytime I'm on hols I miss real milk. Foreign milk just tastes different.

I can relate to you and where you are coming from. I lived in Middle East for 15yrs and when you cannot get wet milk its something of a wonder, dried only. In the food range so many things that were missing. Its a case of adapt and overcome. The upside was the shoes were without VAT and boy designers fab prices got loads. Best Wishes. dancing
