Oh I have bad news about that Dru, getting fixed isn't a 100%. My doctor told me that the tubes have been known to grow back together even if they burned the ends and tied them back, it's not common but been known to happen.
But I am double protected with the having gone into early menopause 10 years ago.

Cut and cauterization doesn't work for either gender 100%, but the rubber bands I have on mine work better. Nothing cut and cauterized, nothing to heal and grow back.

Wow I never heard about rubber bands on them. And the rubber doesn't age and break. You know every day rubber bands rarely last a year then turn all crunchy. I am sure they used something better than that, maybe made of silicone or something.
