We lost power here for 7 days. Sad thing is, I live in Louisville. I have been here for 6 months and we have lost power here twice for a week each. I hear the LG&E board members were having fun in the Bahamas while we were freezing.... ok I am joking about the Bahamas.
There was an ice storm? Dang, I miss all the excitement! Actually, it wasn't so bad where I am, being a bit further south. I think the worst of it was frozen car doors...but at least I felt safe from any B&E for a day anyway.
Hey, Zee, keep posting. Maybe we'll get more Kaintukin's to come out of hidin' and join in!

That I can do.
I was without power for a week.... sucks being in the city, can't build a fire to stay warm. The worst night was when it got down to 7 degrees.... thank God it hasn't been too long since I left Michigan.... sorta felt like summer.
Yea, we lose power often around here and some may last for a few days. But it's not just because of ice or Winter in general, could be from fallen trees hitting the lines or someone using a pole to stop their car. I used to live in Dearborn Hts. so I know how cold it can get up North. Love being back home, here...most snow lasts for just a day or so and the best part? No blizzards! Well, there haven't been any in quite a few years. My Dad said there've been a few back in his younger days.
