Poets Moving Mountains

There's an old saying said somewhere about moving mountains. I became a poet young in life for the simple fact that poetry allows you to shuffle mountains like cards, for the awe they inspire is a universal metaphor for anything that is, according to conventional wisdom, impossible to change.

When you're a poet however, words evoke things in people's minds that have a strange synthesis, a flexible, malleable clay like the folds that a skilled sculpture evokes with clay or marble, or whatever.

We shape things according to an inner inspiration that is both misunderstood, and hard to explain, and thus, becoming more misunderstood the more we attempt to explain. The metaphor of a muse is inexact, for a muse is but a metaphor itself, for there, where words become something else, is where a muse resides. In a world of Poets Moving Mountains.
