leslie8546Northwich, Cheshire, England UK1 Threads 62 PostsDuring the present financial crisis one thing ought to be born in mind................... those that got us there in the first place, the bankers, were and are all (well almost all) greedy Conservatives.
This one goes back into the mists of time - I think it was somewhere round 1600 when the banks started issuing promisory notes on the gold deposited in their vaults - its all gone downhill from there

Who gave us 18 (or however many) years of economic growth and prosperity?
Well those same "greedy" Conservative bankers certainly helped.
In Biblical times it was 7 years of feast and 7 years of famine.
In modern times it's 18 years of feast and 3 years of famine. Which isn't so bad really, is it?
