I have been here on the forums for about 3 months now and have not seen very much posting into the Can. forums. I think some of us must find some interesting threads to talk about and see if we can bring some of our members out of the wood work.LOL

Nice to meet you as well. Due to the rain down here most of the crops have had a slow start. Now what we need is lots of sunshine and warm weather. I am sure that the corn will be ready in time for our annual Cornfest in the latter part of August. The Cornfest has become a big event for the town of Taber and seems to get better every year. It does attract people from all over and certainly does provide a big boost for the local economy. Yes, there is good corn everywhere. Taber has done a very good job at marketing thier corn. We have a 15 foot corn statue at our town civic centre, if i can figure out how to post pics., I will post a pic of it.
