Food! is the enemy!!! I hear this a lot, for someone like me yes food is the enemy, Im diabetic, diagnosed at age 35 so if it werent already hard enough to eat properly now I had the doc telling me I had to do better, much better!! Even though at the time I was in great shape and felt super!! I had to change everything about my eating habits...So calorie counting and watching out for fatty foods took back seat to watching carbohydrates...Carbs are the real evil in weight gain,to many and your workout has to become so grueling, who wants to continue at that pace, training was no longer fun..Sooooo I now eat roughly 5 small meals a day {I always feel full} rarely hungry, try to make sure what I eat is half good and the other half to satify my terrible sweet tooth, treat my self with some diet coka cola and make my excersize non-routine, so its fun again..The weight just started comming off and I wasnt even working out that hard...I guess what Im saying is just by altering your mindset{Dont call the way you eat a diet} all you are doing is changing your behaviours and habits, do it slowly but make the change for real and keep with it..I dont drink or smoke either, contrary to what many people think quitting smoking will help you not make you fat, its the replacement of the habit that usually puts on the pounds..Always, always make sure your doctor knows what you putting your body through!! like me I get check as regular as possible, good luck!! everyone!!!

Sure! any kind of motion where your muscle work against each other..We are talking low or no impact on the body so they dont destroy knees or mess with joints..Swimming is a very good one and I do it as often as possible, just your body and the water and the motion in the legs, shoulders abs, it takes all of them to propel you throught the water...Walking stairs is another excellent one, of course if you are part of a gym they have climbers and such to use..Much of my fitness comes from Karate, the regular stances and movements make muscles work against each other, this can really putdefinition in the arms and legs, these are bit harder to explain but if you want to hear Im game! you might fall asleep..

I'm beating the be-jesus out of the garden, loosing weight and the garden looks better than it has in years.

Mucking out was also very worthwhile for all concerned, I lost weight the goats got cleaned out and the garden got manure heart1
