I would hold back until at least the end of the month or you could always cover tender plants with fleece every evening.

If your looking for something rare or unusual this year try tis site they have an amazing range of tomato seeds and not a f1 hybrid in sight so you can save the seeds for next year

world seeds looks interesting I thin I bought some this year, but will have to get out the packets to look.

I get a lot of seeds from Wallis in UK very very cheap and good germination. But I like a few new things every year too.

hey no eastenders for you lol
you can leave the fleece on for a few weeks just lift it off the plants on stakes and string and dont plant as we are forecast heavy rain and thats sure to ruin your seedlings

Ihave the pole beans out and peas, onions, spuds are just breaking the soil and the spinach and chard were transplanted last week along with the lettuce and I am growing that green cauliflower thingy - I get all technical sometimes laugh

I have brassicas some salads and scallions sown outside and the rest of the seedlings are nice and warm in the greenhouse.

Getting some free mushroom compost tomorrow about 20 bags grin so will top up my raised beds with this. this could be an ongoing thing so will be using a fair bit of it on my wet clay soil

One can combat the frost sometimes by getting up early in morning
before the sun comes up and sprinkle water on the plants. grin
