Help please !!!

Completely new to growing anything but have grown Chilli's in pots on the patio.

Looking good but some have gone black while others have gone from green to red, i know i have different varieties but is this normal? and does it mean they will be hotter? wine

hey morgan and welcome the peppers i grow start green then turn red when in their last stage i grow mine in the garden not in pots good luck ps how does the plant itself look if the plants look good it is the natural color of the peppers

look at the leaves and the stem if they look healthy then your ok if they are rotting then burn them asap [dont put them on the compost as it spreads to next years crop ] anything thats deseased has to be burnt to stop the spread

Thank you for the responses.

The leaves on some of the plants do look a little shrivelled, but they are still flowering.

The bell peppers are going green to red. The ones the shape of a Chilli, are more like the colour of an Aubergine

Does anyone have any salsa or Chilli sauce recipes please???
