This is a place where we can discuss new topics for poetry projects or challenges, talk about well known poets that we like - even Shakespeare! Hopefully by sharing our reading experiences we can expand our knowledge of poets and poetry and inspire each other. Oh well off to find a lawn to mow Take care now and thanks for the welcome back too.
I just love you Happy - you just made me laugh out loud with your 'bs' remark - the truth is you are most definitely not full of it.
As for you Mr Stuff, I hope you feel better having got that load off your chest. I had an image of you sitting at your pc banging away at the keys with gusto as you got it all out and I say 'good for you'. What you said made me examine my own habits on the poetry corner - as that's what they are just habits.
I don't have time to comment all day so I guess I do pick my favourite poets and if I'm moved I'll comment that's all. Sometimes I will comment just to say hello to someone I haven't reached out to for a while sorry about that
I wonder does anybody else have pet peeves they'd like to air?

Move on people move on she was only joking. This is not the pet peeve area. She was just checking to make sure everyone is still out there and doing well
Ladybee what were you thinking Do you even want to open that can of ugly worms
<-----Ladybee
I agree with much of what you say, I am pleased you posted this. I agree too with Redex, I feel it is ill mannered not to comment, I also love reading the comments.
I object to people not answering their own poems for a couple of year, then bringing them up later.

Hey hun, it won't be the first time I found a piece of worn shoe leather in my mouth - and this is the place to air such worries eh? I think that's how I see someone's pet peeve - as a kind of worry, sometimes it's a really personal feeling that owes itself to the personality that feels it - sometimes it turns out that it's felt by a lot of people and who knows what can happen when this is true. I think this is a good place to air these things
I'm beginning to contemplate posting my work here so that it doesn't get lost.

you could be on to something there ROS <---- haven't crossed paths with you for ages! There is also a poetry thread on the forums, but I suspect it is used more for random political threads - perhaps the braver poets could reclaim it and shoo out the plebs However, having said that, I suspect some of the newer posters may not stick around that long - it seems to go in waves and troughs regarding the number of regular posters.
Hope all is well with you and the bear
