"The road I have traveled" (2)

sch4love2
I seem to travel this road alone.
I keep knocking, but no one is home.
Can anyone hear my silent cry?
This pain is deep, I ask myself why!
Tears of suffering, tears of pain!
Why is this happening? Who is to blame?
I wear a blanket of sorrow, so heavy is my burden.
Some say, this cannot be real.
Is this then a lie, this pain i feel?
They gave it a name, this misery I suffer: they call it the "Wolf", or Lupus if I may!
Now I can see the light, I might find my way!
Back you beast! And let me be! Back you beast, and set me free!

There is a power so deep inside, its in me, and its in you.
The need to survive.
Though the load i carry is heavy, i will lay down this burden,
and simply walk away.
I will live to fight another day!
So release this pain, set me free!
If only for a little while, upon my lips, I do smile.
I no longer travel this road alone.

My knock is answered. Someone is home.
