Go to www.youtube.com, find the video that you want to post in your blog, and copy the URL of that video. Then paste that into your blog between [youtube][/youtube] tags.

For example: [youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaA_cs4WZHM[/youtube]
Answer
There are two ways to post images on your blog. If the image is located on the web, you can link to it, and if not, you can upload it to CS.

  1. If the image is on another website: find the image you want on another website, then right click on the image and copy the url where it says "Address (URL)", then post the url of the image into your blog between [img][/img] tags.
    For example: [img]http://www.connectingsingles.com/i/free_online_dating.jpg[/img]
  2. upload the image to CS: Click on Blogs in the top nav, then click on My Blogs, then click on Upload Blog Photos. Upload the photo(s) you want to include in your blog, then copy the code in the column next to the image that says "Image Code" and paste that into your blog.

Answer
A Blog is a journal you may enter about your life, your thoughts, interesting experiences, or lessons you have learned. It's your own page on Connecting Singles that you can update on a regular basis, or just whenever you have something to say. You can write about an opinion, impart words of wisdom, or talk about something interesting in your day. Creating a blog is a good way to share something of yourself with Connecting Singles members. Reading blogs is a good way to learn more about members you have met here.

A blog IS NOT a personal-ad describing yourself or the person you are seeking. You have a profile on the site for that.
A blog is NOT for one-to-one chatting. You have onsite email for that. Click the "Email" button on a member's profile.
A blog IS NOT a Forum for discussion, debate, advice or asking questions of other members. Join the Connecting Singles Forums for these purposes.

Use your blog to record your thoughts, opinions and ideas. All blogs are open to viewing by the public and to comments from other members (unless you disabled comments). You may read and then delete those comments to your blog if you wish. You may edit your own blog, however, you may not edit your comment to another member's blog.
