Answer
No, we do not make any claim on your copyright of the poem or work. Our only concern is for the operation of the website.

By posting any text in your profile or in the Forums, you are giving Connecting Singles the right to use/display that text, piece, poem, article, photo, etc. on the site indefinitely. If you post a literary work you need to give credit to the author, whether it is you (username) or someone else (author's name). Per the site's Terms of Use, you agree that anything you post, you have the right to post, and are not infringing on any copyright when you do so. Forum entries remain even if a member leaves the site for any reason.

If you post anything in the Forums or on the site, please understand that it becomes part of the site (property of the site) and it will remain there even after you leave, that the site is viewed by the public, and that Connecting Singles is not responsible for how posted text is used by those who view it.
Answer
Consider what you post to be permanent. We don't allow posts to be deleted or changed because it may change the meaning of what others have said and disrupt the flow of the discussion.

Your forum entries help members learn about you. Your answers and attitudes there tell a lot about you. Consider this before you enter posts, as they cannot be removed.

TO REPLY TO A THREAD: If you read a thread and want to get into the discussion: Click on the 'Post Reply' button at the upper right of the page. Your post will appear at the bottom of that thread in the order it was submitted. (or you can use the REPLY button inside each post)

TO QUOTE ANOTHER POST: If you want to address your reply directly to one member's post in a thread: click on the "Quote" button inside their post. If you do this, their post will be copied and be included in your post answer - so USE THIS OPTION ONLY when you want to take exception to what that one person said and direct your answer to them.
