this is the 3rd of five movies in the jack ryan franchise based on action novels written by tom clancy. jack ryan was played by alec baldwin, Harrison ford (twice), ben Affleck and chris pine. plenty of action and intrigue. what makes it believable for me is that jack isn't a super soldier like jason bourne. he uses his intellect, courage and honor. ex-military have critiqued scenes. inaccuracies do exist but, to someone who doesn't have any military background (like me), it flows nicely.
