I first bought this CD long ago only for the song Die Zauberflöte, while in my school years playing it in the band. This song was fun to play on the clarinet as it requires a lot of tonguing at a very fast pace, which makes it difficult. Except for the instrumental Die Zauberflöte, the opera on the rest of the CD was really not my type of music. But over time I've learned to appreciate the music and this CD has become one of the favorites I listen to often.

I especially like Der Vogelfänger bin ich ja, Dies Bildnis ist bezaubernd schön, O zittre nicht, and Hm! hm! hm! hm!

I admit to singing along with Der Vogelfänger bin ich ja, even though I can't really pronounce the words and don't know the full meaning. Can anyone tell me about this?
