Paganini's Violin Concertos are the best. They are difficult to play. Accardo's interpretation is one of the best.

I can only agree to the previous entry.
One thing to perhaps mention here is, that "Paganini never repeats himself", it will be variation of the previous theme or melody, but some nuances will always be different. Just listen carefully.
No repetitions, like it was common in the baroque times of Vivaldi, Scarlati, Palestrina, Händel, Buxtehude and also Bach.

However J.S. Bach also has some lovely and tricky violin works ...
I adore his extraordinary fluency in contrapuntal invention and motivic control in his blending technique where two or more melodies interact simultaneously. It was once said while analysing his music by computer, that the musical structure of his works was very mathematical.


Tip:
Just listen to Paganini's 24 Capriccios (if possible also played by Salvatore Accardo)!
