DOWN BY THE RIVER

DOWN BY THE RIVER

Down by the river just thnking about life.

Just remembering all thats wrong and all thats right.

Watching the fade as the people pass.

As I just sit there and think about my past.

And I turn and smlie then laugh.

Because I am thankful for everything that have.

I wouldn't trade or give any of it back.

The water flows as I sit and cry,

asking god and wondering why.

Down by the river just sitting there;

as the wind blows through my hair.

Yelling out jesus can you hear me now.

I want to be strong I just don't know how.

Please forgive me I'm screaming out loud.

I'm just a kid,

and im still trying to figure it all out.
