Pain (Cryin' Out)

Life is hard
That's a fact
you play a card
you're in the act...of life's play
in the fray
are you gonna go or are you gonna stay
and pay
the price
sixpence will not suffice
just enough to buy rice
roll the dice...one more time
rhyme
is sublime
higher up the ladder I climb
dust in the wind like a windchime...on a doorstop
watch, cause soon you gon' drop...like a leaf
thief...in the night
alright
outta sight
you just might
find what you're lookin' for
open the door
they say you want some more?
what's more but got to find what's in store
it's dark in the night but I still hear the lions roar...of pain
write a refrain
in the rain
what is the main...point
joint...like where you live
your heart is bleeding through a sieve
give
even just one olive
forgive
and div...vy up the spoils of war
war down to the core
livin' this life is the ultimate chore
what a bore
now can't you see
in this cage is the one called me
and I'm not free
to be
exactly
who I want to be
to explain to to people's like payin' a fee
so I gotta express my pain through poetry

About this poem:
Life has been really hard recently, and me and my mom have been fighting and whenever I write poems or raps, it's cause alot of emotion has built up and it lets my heart just bleed it out through the words, these words that you're reading, I did not plan them, they just came as my heart flowed and the emotion ran out...this is how I'm feelin'

It is good to vent. You are safe here. We all care. I can understand about life being difficult. It is for me now too. I hope things will get better. Your poem is very good. I liked the style. Take care. Blessings.
