Do you want true love

We go round and round in circles
Till we come back round again
And we have nothing to show for it
Don’t you realize we’ll do this to the end
You are the only one who knows me
Who gets my little games
And when I strike the match
You are right there in the flame
I ought to know by now
We have an invisible connection
It’s just like looking in the mirror
And seeing my reflection
I write up a storm
To say it’s all over
Then you come along with your love
Like you are in a bulldozer
I start burning for your love
And the flames start going high
Then once again you tell me goodbye
Why can’t you just make up your mind
Don’t you realize we already have
What we don’t need to find
Mean while the clock goes by
With the hours hanging on the weight of time
I keep thinking back to when you were mine
The time has come now to take my hand
Or to let me go
You’ll never find out how true love can be
And you may never ever know
