Well, I read it and that is what it says.
What I cannot get my head around is how the US Supreme Court and some of the state legislatures think that 'shall not be infringed' means something other than 'shall not be infringed'.
What those words mean is that and US citizen can own any sort of weapon and carry it anywhere at any time. Anything else is an infringement on the Second Amendment.
I am in favour it it and wish that all countries had a copy of the Bill of Rights written into their constitutions.
Criminals and lunatics will always get weapons. That is what makes them what they are. Disarming their potential victims does not make society safer, it just makes it easier for the scum to rule the streets.
