There is no doubt that we need more fun threads here and as for the serious stuff...well it was possible once to have a great aul discussion....with people holding opposing views..and still have respect for the other persons opinion...

I always enjoy your posts and the "serious" ones are norally very informative and balanced. I think you (and a few other posters) were brilliant in what you said on the Jill Meagher thread. I just found it so upsetting (her murder, not the comments of crap)I hadn't got it in me to say much on that thread.
I do like a good debate/discussion....and a laugh, so let's hope more people will post soon on many threads....

you do make me laugh...it is jam NOT jelly we stuff in our doughnuts (damn did I spell it wrong....I never know which is the cool way to spell it LOL) My absolute favourite ones are stuffed with vanilla type custard

I don't take this place seriously...it was my "fun zone and bit of relaxation some evenings after a hard day at work"....I never took it serious and never allowed anyone/trolls upset me!
Bit hard to stay a way from the "women bashing" threads when it filters into almost everything here.....and remember...you can always take your own advice and "stay away" from threads you don't like!

It's not about taking anything too seriously. It's about human nature. Sometimes people want to have an interesting discussion and other times they want to have a giggle. I love a good laugh as much as anyone else. I also really enjoy a great debate. However with certain posters hijacking threads just because they love being the centre of attention, neither aim is accomplished JMO

Can't speak for others only myself. Don't see it as bullying at all - your words not mine. I don't post as much as I used to because none of the topics inspire me to.
