pedro27: well

i answered yes , we all are teachers Pedro thumbs up

Every single one of us have our own gifts and talents ,
we all have the capacity to teach others in some small way , wether it's just a new piece of information , a skill , etc ..to pass onto others .
No matter what age we are , it is so very important to keep learning !

However , there are bad teachers , as well as good , but that's a whole other thread !!! lol

As the saying goes , " every day , you should learn something new "

So ,yes whatever your training , work experience , talents or gifts , or indeed life skills hard earned --we can all benefit and learn from those who teach us thumbs up

The definition of teaching, or good teaching at least, is "a transfer of enthusiasm".....

I have been lucky enough to have been taught by some amazing people in my life, and i would regard them as valid role models for what i was then, a developing boy and man...
And the importance of their input has never been undervalued when i think back....

My interest in learning came from my primary school teacher, my love of english came from a "hippy" english teacher in secondary school, my grasp of all things "motor related" came from a wizened tiny college lecturer in a white lab coat (kinda like a hobbit crossed with an angry northern english mill worker), and my present course tutors who are opening up great possibilities for my future in healthcare....

I guess i appreciate what goes into making knowledge something you feel you want, rather than something that is forced on you, but then, im lucky, i grew up in good times ,when there was work for an interest...those days are past, and we now have to learn for work, rather than learn for the pleasure of it....

AB....

BTW, I voted "we are all teachers", we all learn from each other, plenty of times a yougster has bailed out my thinking with some practical answers to problems that had me stumped!....
