It's almost as if they know the cubicle farm is but ten years shy of being largely replaced by a computer algorithm. You can trust the Japanese to know the difference between progress and pretense. They can surpass us in creativity, culture, etiquette, health, hygiene, literacy, organisation, sophistication and at the end of it all still know what an economy is supposed to be and what a real job is.
