BEST CS MEET VENUE (41)
ladylumps: Ok all you CS party goers. There are some visitors coming over from far far far across the water ( USA ) at the start of June. Us Irish lot are known on CS for having the most and also the best nights out. So we want to show them a great CS night out and need to decide on a venue either Bojangles or Break for the Border so which do you think would be the best venue and why.
Oh and it will be in Dublin because thats where they are staying.

From a personal point of view, I have been to three meets in three different venues and I found Break for the Border to be the best as there was less steps to get to the toilets and to the smoking area.

Have only been to 1 meet..in Break for the Border and it was brilliant. Can't comment on Bojangles though cos I've never been there.

all depends on numbers i think is small to medium numbers then bftb if large numbers expected bojangles

I've thoroughly enjoyed the three meets I've been at.
I just think Bojangles is better as a venue because the group can mingle and chat easier...JMO

I think all three places I have been to meets in (Bojangles, BFTB and the vat house all have advantages and disadvantages.
Bojangles - the layout of the place is nice and the toilets were accessible but having to climb a load of steps to the smoking area was a bit of a turn-off for me.
BFTB - nice place and very accessible to toilets and smoking area but found it difficult get a taxi home.
Vathouse - great smoking area and nice place but again having to climb two flights of stairs was a bit of a turn-off for me. The fact that the toilets were like a swamp wasn't idea either as one of the toilets was blocked and the floor was manky. The toilet attendant seemed more interested in talking on his mobile than actually keeping the place in a decent state......JMO

Yes agree with you Noel and towards the end of the night it can get very crowded and messy but its great to have the place to ourselves early in the night.

It was a nice spot and central enough did find €3 for a can of coke a bit steep but we had a nice area to ourselves music was good too. Ladies toilets were grand no attendant in it.

ladylumps: Yeah and the gas thing is I probably wouldnt think anything if it was a bottle for €2.95 its just with the can you can relate it to a price in the shops which is about €1 or when the 6 packs are on special they are the same price.
