It's ok - the exception proves the rule!

The USA actually has something like 17 of the top 20 universities in the world!

The USA is VERY clever - the USA sponsors the top brains from all over the world to go to USA universities and then bribes the cream of the cream to stay behind.

It doesn't matter if your average American is ignorant if you have a steady supply of the best brains in the world working for you! thumbs up

I'm aware of the list..the question is,who compiles it and influences the line up?professor laugh There are top universities all over the world, including of course, the U.K.

Make no mistake, the best minds in the U.S.are some of the best in the world, however the average American couldn't tell you the capital city of most countries, let alone even where those countries are located..Fact!Try it the next time you meet an American.rolling on the floor laughing

WillHonorYou: How do you view American people in general? Do they have to support America's economic system...capitalism for the most part? And should they respect or at LEAST ignore different races (lifestyles, etc.)if they don't like them... to give them a right to their peace of mind and so they can do what they like without being bothered?

Questioning authority is the premise this country was built on. Not all people who subscribe to one belief are the same. The groups mantioned here have damn little to do with each other.
