Is the US trying to take over Venezuela for its oil?

I wouldn't put it past the Government to try such a thing and use Colombia to take over its neighbors to get their oil reserves.
I mean, similar things have happened in the past, what is expected to change today?

I also find it funny the Government is making all these new laws about global warming with its great concern, but still has not put solar panels on the white house, nor on the Congress building and not even any State has put solar or wind generators on its State Buildings. So when money is to be made in the trillions on oil, oil is the black gold currency of the world. That is until the people themselves decide to change things and quit depending on the Government to do it.

The really ironic thing is, to put so many US troops and bases in Columbia and still not have any large drug busts is odd. I mean, when there is any hint of a drug lab in America, the police are there in minutes to take out the drug lab and arrest the people.
So if troops are being used in Columbia to take out drug labs and arrest people, how come nobody has been arrested yet? rolling on the floor laughing
Does US Government run the drug ring and has troops there to protect its investment or what the heck are they there for?

What do you think?

For understand all that, you need to know what really are happend in venezuela. Chavez is setting communism there, he is changing everything, because his goal is convert venezuela in the second cuba and then follow the rest of the latin america, so he uses any thing for that.

Any country, or person that is against that, is his enemy, Venezuela has lost a lot of civil rights, there is repression in everything, nobody can protest because they can put in jail, he is taking any bussiness, factory, farm, building that he likes, the thing is to finish that for he is capitalistm.

He sells his socialism as the best thing that any country should to follow, but he never show the true, the poverty, destruction,
of the nation. Now he is against the power and water.

All about colombia is because he wants to close the border, he wants venezuela be closed by any place. So, he uses the bases for do that.

I suspect that Chavez himself may be just another tool of the same globalists who control America and Europe.

The threat of conflict is vital to their plans to push the nations of the world into forming regional "communities" which will gradually evolve into nations (ex. The US, the USSR, Europe etc).

As Christ predicted, this period of history is marked by "wars" and "rumors of war".

The "wars" are for tearing down the Old World Order.
The "rumors" are for forging the New World Order.

I started a poll on this same subject some weeks ago. I do believe
what the US government(and maybe not only them) is after is to start an artificial conflict in a particularly sensitive area, exploiting already existing problems. It wouldn`t be the first time they fight their wars on somebody else`s territory. Oil is on the foreground, control of South America looms in the background.Economic interest hand in hand with political moves.

It is in the benefit of their plans to make as many ppl as possible believe that South America can become a communist block. Nothing farther from reality. They would love to see us again under the boots of right -wing - directed military dictatorships.

I, for one, do not accept either communism or any other kind of totalitarian regime and do not accept imperialism in any of its forms. Big Brother U.S. should mind their own business, and this means WITHIN their borders.

Chavez has been accused of running drugs via Columbia-that's why the U.S. presence there has been strengthened. Venezuala's oil is high in sulphur and not easy to get at-making it less of a prize to oil co's.
