bohdiprana: now now, this is just a taurus/libra language/understanding issue. Sincerity and good intentions to contribute were the order of the day. Sometimes we just don't see/feel/hear how connected what the other person is saying really is.Bascards? I'll wear that for ya... if you wear the only outfit.
I didn't vote.I refuse to be marginalized to a mere statistic that serves little more than generalizations.
Good job skewing...
P.S. ...who believes I-didn't-vote part?
P.S.S. But to be serious -- Kid's contribution on a page #4 was priceless. Never did I dream to get such a detailed solemn perspective from a man.
Big_John: ...and then maybe we just are too tired or weak to want to engage into a serious topic that may not serve our purposes to why we are on this dating site. Some are not here to save the planet and solve 'world issues'. Good luck on finding people who will debate the issue with you.
True, Big_john, but look at the way the question is posed... It's already biased in its implication.

Oh, I know that.
Hence it's set up as a poll.
I am not fond of polls here (to say the least ),
but when it{the poll} gives an opportunity to vote anonymously, it can speak values with NO discussion what-so-ever.
And since voting in any CS poll is not mandatory, the only people who did vote are those who wanted their voice to be heard.

Yes... I'd hate to be snowed in with her around, I'd have to pretend to be asleep just to not feel guilty of being a man and responsible for the ills of this planet and its female population!

Oh, shuks!! Guilt? That's a bit too defensive... Why?
Have "YOU"{you personally including, GP} ever thought of sharing this responsibility for the ills?
If not for this gender stereotyping, maybe a lot more talented people could bring to the collective table?
Laura25: If that was your perception of the choices given, it was definitely not my intention.
Why you think it's not OK to narrow the poll/discussion to a specific{yet very pronounced} tendency in a society and/or a specific{yet very big} group of people?
Because we BOTH don't know THAT many people and blanket statements are always untrue.
Grandepensees: Because we BOTH don't know THAT many people and blanket statements are always untrue.
I disagree with these "blanket-statements" and "we-BOTH-don't-know-THAT-many-people" statements, GP.
First,
it's a "what's-your-opinion-on-the-matter" poll -- not a statement.
Secondly, we all seem to know everything about political parties and political leaders, whom we have never met, never spoke to, and never will. We all have very strong opinions about those, even in other countries where we never ventured and probably never will. We all have strong opinions about all other kind of stuff we never came in contact with personally, never had any kind of personal experience with,
yet people cannot have opinions based on their own experiences in their real everyday life?
You see, we do not live in a vacuum.
Also, "we-BOTH-don't-know-THAT-many-people" is kind of a blanket statement...
Anyways, I really wanted to just see people's thoughts based on their own experiences,
that's why I never mentioned
documented (by bureau of labor statistics and/or Census Bureau statistics) wage gap between genders for the last three years in US and Australia. <~~ That is not something you'd call a blanket statement,
but if I posted the documented ratio of women's and men's earnings (for the same jobs performed in 2006, 2007, 2008),
then you would be right saying that "it's{this poll} already biased in its implication".
