well for me the characteristics i look for
first of is looks ,is he well groomed,like if he has a beard
does keep it trimed or does he walk around with a 5O'clock shadow,and his hair does it look brushed and well trimed,
and the there the way he dresses,does he wear well woren out
jeans out in the public and ragidy t-shirt, or does wear
nicely faded and a nice oxford top.
because in my oppenion you judge a book by it's cover.
And before i go any futher i calrify the above.
by out in the public i mean to grocery store,post office,
or the bank,the exspections would to the lumber yard,
harware store,auto parts store,because there they might be
in the middle of working on some project.
and the characteristics would be but not any order.
is his faith base values,how easily is it for him to be romantic,
and is he willing let the realionship take it own course.
those are the things i look for when looking to date a
man and or lady.

I actually read somewhere that women (sometimes subconsciously) look for a man who has a good sense of humour.
The reasoning behind that is: when you laugh, your brain releases endorphins, which is a natural pain killer.
Laughter (and happiness in general, I guess) are really good for your well-being, so women look for men who can make them laugh, because it'll be good for them in the long run. Even if they don't realise they're doing it. :P
It's just something I read, I don't know if it's true or not. But after reading it I realised that every guy I've ever been interested in has had a really good sense of humour. :D

That is good info to know. I have always wonder what made women go after men who are not necessary physically there match but it seem from asking this question a lot to other women that a man who can put a smile on a women face is far more vulnerable than physical appearance sometime that's not always the case but I find it to be true half the time.
