In order for the international community to settle the conflict, they would first need to pick a winner of the conflict. A winner based on truth, and not the individual passions that surround the conflict. It will not matter who the international community picks as the winner, because they will always be portrayed has picking the wrong side, whether a reality, or not. Lets just all pick our winner, keep our mouth shut, and when the dust settles we will see who is standing upright!

If interested...read this book..its non religious..
"SHADOWS OF POWER" The Council on Foreign Relations and The American Decline....by James Perloff...
It talks alot about the wars..and how and why there were started..
Another good book that will show you WHO the Global Gov. is..is "THE INSIDERS, ARCHITECTS OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER..by John F. McManus..
People here think Reagan was a hero...he was just another NWO puppet..no different than all the rest of our crooked presidents.
I think what is happening..is going to happen.and we cannot stop it...its been predicted..and in no other time in history..have all the New World Order ducks been set in a row so perfectly..
Dont hate these Israelis and the Muslims..they are pawns..being used in all of this...being used in the most awful way...and they dont realize it. Its very sad...
The Globalists..go into countries..and create many divisions to divide the people..and cause conflict..That way..the people will look to the United Nations as their NEW SAVIOR..
We should all be living our lives in peace...it is these Globalists that have stolen the peace from the Earth..and her people..
Soon you will probably see Israel take out the Iranian nuclear program which, of itself, will impose peace. All according to the fallout, and which way the wind blows.

Legend3: The land is of palistinians isreal occupied thier land and is killing the innocent palistinians
Then people should sit around a table and talk, both sides have claim, the people of Israel have been hounded for 1000s of years surely they have a right to live in peace after all this time. To reitterate, yes the Palistinians have rights too. So in a humane world how could this be solved?
A overwhelming majority voted for this idea. Which, is light of the fact many poster don't vote, means a even greater number support the idea than the figures suggest.
Wouldn't it be grand if the international community would pick up the ball on this one.
Adrummer90: The poll has shown that there is overwhelming support for international intervention. Free at last, free at last, Lord almighty, free at last.
Look again 45/50 not so overwhelming You are extremely Naive. Lets carpet bomb new Hampshire...bunch of Hippies

Adrummer90: Is it time for the international community to settle this conflict?
And exactly why do people believe the west can provide justice and solve the problmes in the middle East.. look at Iraq today, country of untainted democracy and complete liberty.. O no hang on it's run by a load of crackpot militarists in suits(no different to Saddam), and the streets are filled with religious hatred towards people within and outside of Islam.
15 year old Palestinian youth shot to death today in Gaza protest. The protest marks the aniversary of the deaths of 6 Palestinians with Israeli citizenship whos land was taken by Israel 34 years ago.
The poll reflects that more are in favor of this idea than not.

This is collective punishment. Its against the law.

Are you saying the US or the International community should solve the Isreal/Palestine issue, as your poll suggests the two, or do you think the US is the International community.
Maybe I have my facts wrong but I thought the International Community had settled the issue back in 1947, but it was not a satisfactory resolution for all concerned, which should give you some idea for the answer to your question.
No...... the issue should not be interferred in by International politics other than to lend moral support to both sides in equal measure and to ensure fair play........ something that few of the outside influences seem to be able to do.
If the United States sees itself as the worlds policeman, then it's done a bloody poor job in seeing fair play in the region and should be considering pulling out of it's meddling as opposed to interferring any further.
i really just have a question, i hope someone could answer it for me. was the holy temple in jerusalem, which seems to be the main stumblig block to peace, there before or after the jews arrived..peace be to those that strive for it..
Dmire: I am lost.Even B.C[Before christ]era Jerusalem was for Jews. Why does Palestinians want to make it their capital?

JMHO
In my opening statement I clarified "the US" to mean The international community. To include the EU Russia US and even the UN.
The operative words in your post are "playing fair". When 273 of the fatalities that occured during the lastest incursion into Gaza by the IDF WERE CHILDREN I think, just maybe, one side isn't playing fair. Particularly when one compares the losses on the Israeli side, 6. And two of these were from friendly fire.

What if this young boy was your son, brother or friend.

There is a lot more to it than that holy temple...there's a whole mass of land involved.

Exactly... then stop the US interferring, by supplying the arms to Israel and stop the rest of the international community from interferring also.
What we should be doing is helping the two sides to pull up a chair to the negotiating table..... not adding fuel to the fire by taking sides and supplying arms.

Your point is well taken. In fact the 4.5 Billion in aide the US gives Israel each year consists primarily of military contracts performed by US companies! So yes the US is both trying to quell the fire whilst fueling it!
But the horror of the situations is that Israel isn't going to give the Palestinians an inch they arn't force to do!
Their "sucurity barrier" expands with each land grab.
