That's true JSub, this one here has the expertise of confusing people...he finds it very hard to stay on track with anything and as soon as counter proof is issued...up comes another smokescreen post.

Hence my comment of the flawed costs. Yes, I know it happens and it is a current system, but those that use those figures argue against the death penalty because of those figures.
What they do not mention was if there was no appeal system, then the playing fields would be level, the costs would be EXACTLY the same.
Ergo, if you are banged to rights, you get no appeal and that reduces the costs.
See my post above too! If you are 1000000% banged to rights...you don't dserve an appeal.
The reason your costs are flawed is because nigh on every person on death row WILL appeal, without a shadow of doubt. Those with a life sentence rarely appeal, that is why those figures are flawed old son.
D. THE COST OF LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE VS THE DEATH PENALTY
Many opponents present, as fact, that the cost of the death penalty is so expensive (at least $2 million per case?), that we must choose life without parole ("LWOP") at a cost of $1 million for 50 years. Predictably, these pronouncements may be entirely false. JFA estimates that LWOP cases will cost $1.2 million - $3.6 million more than equivalent death penalty cases.
Yup...naturally, there care cases where they do appeal, but many are also turned down. I BELIEVE, but not 100% sure, a death sentence appeal is not turned down or cannot be turned down?
RE: The Death Penalty
Funny enough, i thought that was what it would have been. Care to join us? (pure joke love, pure joke)
