Holding doors open: I have done that and still do that, however, I have also noted that some women didn't have the courtesy of saying thank you. Now, I don't let things like bad manners go unpassed, so I say in a loud voice "Thank you costs nothing".
As well as can be expected sweet cheeks. I wore your tee'shirt the other night...well, not yours, but the present from you lol. Made me think of Barca!
When I was in Cyprus (as part of the UN Peacekeeping), I was swimming out to a raft and got cramp in both legs some 30 yards out from the beach. L/Cpl Mel Smith, our Unit postie, saw me struggling and swam out to save my life...I was a gonna for sure.
Now I never go out further than I can touch the floor....and that incident was back in 1970.
