Perhaps ypu shpuld have read what the poll was about before comin out with the remarks you just did. The 1916 march doesnt go down the shankill for example, where as the orangemen wanna go down the Ardoyne which is a Nationalist/Catholic area in spite of the residents being against it. I'm always reluctant to mention that. There was a time when the, "Black Protestant," landowners wanted freedom from Westminster. Wolfetone himself was protestant as was Roger Casement. I believe half the signatures on your proclamation were protestant too. The English army at the Battle of the Boyne was financed by the Vatican for political reasons.
Seems this issue is more complex than some would have us believe!

Im well aware what the poll was about im just broadening the debate looking into the reasons why things are the way they are up there.
