Will do = thanks for the tip. The trouble with Bessie Smith and Billie Holiday is for me - I've never heard any of their stuff that has been successfully re-engineered and it's all tinny low-fi. I can just about do Django and Hot Club like that - but the re-engineered stuff of theirs is amazingly better.

Yes i know what you mean ,sometimes when i go into the likes of H.M.V. TO BUY AN ARTIST MAYBE 30 or 40 yrs old in recording ive even got to see who the backing instrumentals are by ,cause they sometimes even switch the original backing around
Ive got original tapes here of the Beatles ,,but the re mastered ones they even change the tempo around from the originals from the 60s
