I don't see anything wrong with the idea not because in the past I had done so, but it is up to the individuals. I have no regrets about doing in then, yet I would not do it now. My independence has become too important to me to have to change the freedom I have now.
Jaygo1: If you're not talking about the piece of paper, than you are just talking about a verbal commitment, which is the same thing as saying that you are living together without benefit of marriage.
then you don't know what marriage is and that's why we have so much divorce today.
anonymous1: I wouldn't mind living 12 miles from you; but, you'd probably have better luck moving Massachusetts into the middle of the Pacific Ocean, than getting me to live in New England..
LUCK? Do you doubt my abilities? I would even consider moving the state into the middle of the Pacific Ocean to be nearer you but an awful lot of MA residents would be really ticked off at me for that. So, I guess the only alternative is for you to find me a job that I could support myself with, and I'd have to move just me to Hawaii instead of the whole state. See the sacrifices I'm willing to make for you??
Sampe1967: then you don't know what marriage is and that's why we have so much divorce today.
I believe that everyone has different ideas of what marriage is, and that could be a reason we have so much divorce today. I also believe that there are many other reasons.
