jealousy is just another emotion, like anger, happiness, sadness, its not always controllable. Were all born with these emotions, the only difference from one person to the next is who makes what emotion an underlining factor in their lives... some people dont have any, but everyone starts with ALL of them.

I dont think we are born with any emotions, the only one we know when born is to cry for food or comfort. We are taught them by our elders our peers and life, its what shapes us
I deal alot with kids, because my family has alot of them. I think there all adorable i love kids, ill toss some pics up sometimes of my cousins babies. What im getting to this is one day i seen a couple of kids (in our own family) playing together, and one of them had these big toys, and one of them had few smaller toys, she wanted to come to the bigger toys, and the other girl wouldnt let her play with them. Ofcourse the girl that didnt have the big crazy lookin toys wanted to play with them. She was jealous. Even as a child these emotions are there. Its hard to scientifically explain why they are, but you can just see how kids act towards one another. Its clear as day. These kids that im talking about arnt even 4 yrs old. The older you get the worse it is. The more expensive things are and the more you care about what everyone else has compared to you. What defines the difference or what changes your attitude towards what someone else has compared to you, is nothing but age and mentality. Its impossible to be 4 years old and realize that you dont care that hey have these big cool toys. As you get older your values can change and what everyone else has. However being a toddler you want the best, you want what no body else has, or at least what most people have.
Piers: OOoOoOoOoOoOo here comes the TRUTH, hopefully.

you have to be american to be jealous
I will never feel jealousy about anything
if I don't have it ,it is because I hadn't tried hard enough to have it, all what I have is part of my effort toward it.about love, huuuh one day an unlucky woman will satmble and fall into my arm and love will reborn one more time

Im not trying to be jealousies sponsor, lol. Im just saying its one of those emotions you start with and adapt out of. By my age and even younger everyone classifies jealousy as a childish emotion, and thats because it is, but im not going to lie when i say ive seen a happy couple and have said to my self, "wheres mines"?
