parti, I was talking to someone last night about intelligent people and how intimidating others may find them. Are people intimidated by your intelligence?
nate, maybe interact a little more on the forums or here in the blogs as you are doing now. Apart from being fun, interaction reveals parts of your personality which another person may be attracted to and hence generate interest. Remember also that there are many who lurk in the back ground reading blogs and comments without revealing themselves, but may still be compelled to contact you after getting a bit of an idea as to who you are.
Focusing less on finding "that" person and engaging i more general online social activity will bring with it some of the rewards that interacting in real life does.
In the space of one year Einstein produced papers on photoelectricity, brownian motion, special relativity and mass-energy equivalence, and others. This enormous power of thought in one year (Einstein said it was like a storm had been unleashed in my brain)can only be compared to Newton who had a similar period over a year.
Hawkins is a very smart man, no doubt about it, but he stands on the shoulders of giants.
One disappointing thing about Einstein was his unwillingness to accept the Copenhagen interpretation of Quantum mechanics, which has been one of the most successful tested theories in science. Of this Einstein said,"God does not play dice"
Mercedes, class and style? Ferarri, class and fast? Porsche, enduring, down low and a good ride.. Toyota, cheap, use a lotta gas, not many gears, and leak a bit?
Three for thee
