Well, I once had an old car that the Reverse would not work. lol but in relationships... I would advise it's not necessarily a good thing to back with someone you split up with before.. you may be setting yourself up for a repeat... but, never say never, maybe both of you have changed since. I would also advise, if the problem that split both of you up in the first place has truly resolved itself, then give it time to see if truly did so. No reason to rush into anything. Making it official doesnt necessarily make it better. Just be sure that you are both happy and ready to be together again.

I guess you can always go back, "If the feelings are still there".

After Five years of "off again, on again, off again", Jeannie and I finally got married last November 27th

It was a simple ceremony, with just two witnesses and a minister.
It then took us a month before we told her son and her mother, that we got married..

They are still gettin used to the idea.

Only you can answer that Livin.. we can all give our opinion but without knowning the reasons as to why, I cannot provide mine.. Sometimes people change for the better, sometimes they never do... its down to how you feel and want you want in your life...
