Parents should understand that, because they should have the same kind of commitment to each other. This will be hard for some people to hear, but children also are secondary to the commitment between husband and wife. A close second, but the relationship between husband and wife must be primary.
Wow, I hadn't read that in awhile. Thanks for posting it. It is so true, and so appropriate for a person who already has given so much, just for the sheer joy of it.
