RE: Fascination ~ A Poem

I would like to write down a few lines. Lets see if I can do a bit of poetry in general.
Please don't take me wrong I am not dedicating this to anyone.

Some How Let Your Glance Meet My Glance
Let All Your Tears Adorn My Eyelashes.

You Have Stayed With Me
All Moments In All Time
Yes This Body Has Sometimes
Stayed Afar, Sometimes Near

Whatever Sorrows You Have,
Give Them My Address.

I Do Not Like To See
This Grief On Your Face
It Does Not Seem Possible To
Have A Bond Of Grief With You.

Listen To My Request,
Remove That From Your Face.

Some how let your glance meet my glance
Let all your tears adorn my eyelashes.

wow

Assalaamoalaikum!
Dear SoulSurf3r,
Brother, I hope everything is well with you at your end as it is here. Good to see you back on blogs. If you don't mind I would like to write down a few lines thank you.

If You Touch Me Once With Love
My Every Wound Will Be Cured

Listen To The Request Of My Mad Heart
And Join Me With Your Heart

I Have Lived Like This In Your Love
My Heart Has Burned
And My Eyes Have Been Wet.

You Live In My Dreams
Memories And Talks

If I Want To Touch You
By Extending My Hand
You Are Lost In A Moment

I Have Lived Like This In Your Love
My Heart Has Burned
And My Eyes Have Been Wet.

I Have Heard That There Is Thick
In Fate Of Love
May Be That Is Why
Today Stars Are Shining Dimly

How Much More Cruelty Is There
Written In The Lines Of My Palm

Happiness Has Got Angry With Me
And Grief Is Being Kind To Me

I Have Lived Like This In Your Love
My Heart Has Burned
And My Eyes Have Been Wet.

I Have Lived Like This In Your Love
My Heart Has Burned
And My Eyes Have Been Wet.

HollaCauseYOLO: And I quote (Be nice to me and i'll be nice to you , simply as that) error.
With all do respect to your blog, but try to pay attention towards your English when you are typing.
Grammatically correct sentence is (Be nice to me and I'll be nice to you, simple as that.)
They were two mistakes in it.

RE: Why do we do it?

Should Christians abstain from alcohol? Or does God Almighty tell us to drink moderately?
1: Dr. Robert Teachout, A Semitic scholar who, in 1979, wrote his doctorate on The Use of Wine in the Old Testament, stated, "Alcohol is never approved by God in any amount for the obedient Christian."
2: The Bible says alcoholic drink is evil. It is not just the amount one drinks that makes drinking a sin. God condemns the drink itself. (Prov 20:1 KJV) Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
3: God does not lead us into evil Prophet Jesus PBUH did not make, use, approve, commend, or tell us to use intoxicating wine.
4: Alcohol goes directly to the brain, the communication center of the body. It interferes with God’s purpose for mankind.

RE: Why do we do it?

Silverlining2: And I quote (I didnt read more than a few lines) well you answered your question I guess by saying that! And I quote (I'm pretty sure the bible (Gospel of John) relates the story of Jesus turning water into wine at the Wedding at Cana.)
Why did Jesus PBUH changed the water into wine?
You should have red the context and then given the post comment to prove your point which you didn't. Quoting out of context to prove your point is heinous. Anyways in short if you read the chapter in context you will come to know that there was a Wedding of Cana in Galilee, mentioned in GOSPEL OF JOHN Chapter 2 verse 1 going on in which mother Mary, Jesus PBUH with his disciples were invited. and during that wedding the wine got short and there were no wine left to serve to the people. So at that point the people forced mother Mary to tell Jesus PBUH to help us by changing the water into wine which if you read clearly Jesus PBUH rejected to mother Mary in the beginning but on forcing him through mother Mary unwillingly Jesus PBUH had to turn the water into wine. Jesus PBUH never wanted to do it Jesus PBUH was forced to do it unintentionally. So Jesus PBUH changed water into the best spiritual drink means (pious, holy, religious, purified) drink of all. Meaning purified drink Alcohol free wine it just tasted like wine looked like it but nobody got intoxicated of it. Still Alcohol is prohibited in the Bible. Yet you failed to prove your point. Because if you read the whole chapter nowhere it says that anybody got intoxicated by that spiritual (pious purified) wine of Jesus PBUH. Hope that answers your question.

RE: Wow

It is a misconception that if there are fewer children you can provide better education and quality life to your child.
However, its worth notable that one never knows which child could be a blessing from the Creator for the family. It is quite possible that the child, which the parents anticipate to be a bane, may turn out to be a boon for the family and the society. History bears witness to the fact that many of the great scientists, thinkers, and revolutionaries were not from only amongst the first two children of their parents.
Thus the child whom the parents consider unwanted may be a blessing to the family religiously and economically.
With regards to the claim of the people who say that the growth in population increases poverty, this was mainly based on Malthusian’s theory. This theory states that, to maintain prosperity and welfare of human race, its increase should be checked to correspond with the production of foodstuff.
But now we have realized that Malthusian’s theory has been proved wrong and there is no shortage of food grains. Moreover, in spite of the amount of land India uses in agriculture, there is still much more land in India, which can, with little more efforts in fertilizing it through the proper means be utilized in agriculture thus producing more food grains. It would be interesting to note that population density of Holland and Denmark is about four to five times more than that of India. Nevertheless the living conditions of the people there is far better off (economically) than the Indians.
Besides, even if one faces difficulties in upbringing of children, one should always remember that in these hardships could be a test from Allah as this life is a test for the hereafter. Allah says in the Al Qur’an Surah Al-Mulk chapter 67 verse 2 “He Who created Death and Life that He may try which of you is best in deed: and He is the Exalted in Might Oft-Forgiving”
Allah also says in Al Qur’an Surah Baqara chapter 2 verse 155 “Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil) but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere.”
Allah (SWT) says in Al-Qur’an Surah Al Imran chapter 3 verse 54 “And they plotted and planned and Allah too planned and the best of planners is Allah (SWT)”

If you feel you can plan the family better, the choice is yours or else leave it to Allah (SWT) to do the best planning for your family.
Allah knows the best.

RE: Wow

Reasons for Family Planning:
All the various reasons for family planning can be divided into two categories:
1. Either for poverty or
2. Giving special attention to children by having fewer children.
As for those who are poor and fear that they will not be able to meet the economic expenses of the additional child, Allah (SWT) has prescribed the system of zakaat. Every rich person who has the savings of more than the nisab level i.e. 85 gms of gold, should give 2.5% of his excess wealth every lunar year in charity. Those who are poor have the right to take the zakaat money.
Allah (SWT) says in the Qur’an Surah Al-Anaam chapter 6 verse 151 “...Kill not your children on a plea of want; We provide sustenance for you and for them;”
Allah (SWT) also mentions in the Qur’an Surah Al-Isra chapter 17 verse 31 “Kill not your children for fear of want: We shall provide sustenance for them as well as for you: verily the killing of them is a great sin.”
Both these verses seems to convey the same message but on scrutiny we realize that the first verse is meant for poor parents, who fear that if one more child is born in the family neither they will be able to survive nor the child, thus Allah (SWT) says we provide sustenance for you and for them. In the other verse Allah (SWT) says We shall provide sustenance for them and as well as for you, referring to rich parents who feel that if they have less children they can concentrate on them better and give them better education and quality life. Here Allah (SWT) reverses the order and mentions first the children and then the parents.
I am the third child of my parents. If my parents would have done family planning, then I would not have been born. Alhumdulillah, I have qualified and become a daee’. Am I a boon or a bane to the society?

RE: THE GAME EGO PLAY......5

(iii) The third test is ‘Lam ya lid wa lam yu lad’ (‘He begets not, nor is begotten’). However, Rajneesh was begotten. He was born in Jabalpur in India. Like all humans, he too had a mother and a father. They later on become his disciples.
Rajneesh was a very intelligent person. In May 1981 he went to U.S.A. He established a town in Oregon and named it ‘Rajneeshpuram’. It seems that he took America for a ride for the U.S. government arrested him and later deported him out of America in 1985. So Rajneesh returned to India and started a ‘Rajneesh Neosanyas commune in Pune in India which was later renamed the ‘Osho commune’.
If you visit this ‘Osho commune’ in Pune you will find it written on his tombstone, “Osho - never born, never died, only visited the planet earth between 11th Dec. 1931 to 19th Jan 1990”. They conveniently forget to mention on this tombstone that Rajneesh was not given a visa for 21 different countries of the world. Imagine Almighty God visiting the earth and requiring a visa! The Arch Bishop of Greece had said that if Rajneesh was not deported they would burn his house and those of his disciples. So OSHO fails in the third test to prove he is God.

(iv) The fourth test is so stringent that none besides the One True God, Allah (swt), can pass it. ‘Wa lam ya kullahu kufuwan ahad’ which means, (‘there is none like Him’).
The moment you can imagine or compare the candidate or claimant to godhood to anything, this candidate is not god. Neither can you have a mental picture of God.
We know that Rajneesh was a human being. He had one head, two hands, two feet, and a white flowing beard. The moment you can think or imagine what the claimant to godhood is, he or she is not god. The moment you can compare Almighty God to anything, he is not God. ‘Wa lam ya kul lahu kufwan ahad’ ‘there is none like Him.’

Is Bhagwan Rajneesh God or OSHO Rajneesh God?
Some people say that Bhagwan Rajneesh or Osho Rajneesh is Almighty God. Please note my words, I have stated that some people say that Bhagwan Rajneesh is Almighty God. I am aware that Hindu religion does not consider Rajneesh to be God. Rajneesh has followers, who are converts to his philosophy / ideology, but who were originally followers of various different religions.

4. Six Criteria for Identifying Buddha:
According to the Gospel of Buddha by Carus pg. 214:
"The Blessed one said, ‘There are two occasions on which a Tathagata’s appearance becomes clear and exceedingly bright. In the night Ananda, in which a Tathagata attains to the supreme and perfect insight, and in the night in which he passes finally away in that ultra passing which leaves nothing whatever of his earthly existence to remain.’ "
According to Gautam Buddha, following are the six criteria for identifying a Buddha.
(i) A Buddha attains supreme and perfect insight at night-time.
(ii) On the occasion of his complete enlightenment he looks exceedingly bright
(iii) A Buddha dies a natural death.
(iv) He dies at night-time.
(v) He looks exceedingly bright before his death.
(vi) After his death a Buddha ceases to exist on earth.
(i) Muhammad (PBUH) attained supreme insight and Prophet hood at night-time.
According to the Glorious Qur'an Surah Dukhan chapter 44 verse 2 to 3 "By the books that makes thing clear – We sent it down during a blessed night."
According to the Glorious Qur'an Surah Al-Qadar chapter 97 verse 1 "We have indeed revealed this (message) in the night of power."

(ii) Muhammad (PBUH) instantly felt his understanding illumined with celestial light.
(iii) Muhammad (PBUH) died a natural death.
(iv) According to Ayesha (r.a.), Muhammad (PBUH) expired at night-time. When he was dying there was no oil in the lamp and his wife Ayesha (R.A.) had to borrow oil for the lamp.
(v) According to Anas (R.A.), Muhammad (PBUH) looked exceedingly bright in the night of his death.
(vi) After the burial of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) he was never seen again in his bodily form on this earth. TO BE CONTINUED………

3. Devoted Servitors of the Buddhas:
According to Sacred Books of the East volume 11 pg. 97 Maha-Parinibbana Sutta Chapter 5 verse 36 "Then the Blessed one addressed the brethren, and said, ‘Whosoever, brethren have been Arahat-Buddhas through the long ages of the past, they were servitors just as devoted to those Blessed ones as Ananda has been to me. And whosoever brethren shall be the Arahat-Buddhas of the future, there shall be servitors as devoted to those Blessed ones as Ananda has been to me’."
The Servitor of Buddha was Ananda. Muhammad (PBUH) also had a servitor by the name Anas (R.A.) who was the son of Malik. Anas (R.A.) was presented to the Prophet by his parents. Anas (R.A.) relates: "My mother said to him, 'Oh Messenger of God, here is your little servant'." Further Anas relates, "I served him from the time I was 8 years old and the Prophet called me his son and his little beloved". Anas (R.A.) stayed by the Prophet in peace and in war, in safety as well as in danger till the end of his life.
(i) Anas (R.A.), even though he was only 11 years old stayed beside the Prophet during the battle of Uhud where the Prophet’s life was in great danger.
(ii) Even during the battle of Honain when the Prophet was surrounded by the enemies who were archers, Anas (R.A.) who was only 16 years old stood by the Prophet.
Anas (R.A) can surely be compared with Ananda who stood by Gautam Buddha when the mad elephant approached him. TO BE CONTINUED………

2. Buddha’s doctrine was Esoteric and Exoteric:
According to Sacred Books of the East, volume 11, pg. 36 Maha-Parinibbana Sutta chapter 2 verse 32: "I have preached the truth without making any distinction between exoteric and esoteric doctrine, for in respect of truths, Ananda, the Tathagata has no such thing as the closed fist of a teacher, who keeps something back".
Muhammad (PBUH) on the commandment of Almighty God delivered the message and doctrine without making any distinction between esoteric and exoteric. The Qur'an was recited in public in the days of the Prophet and is being done so till date. The Prophet had strictly forbidden the Muslims from hiding the doctrine.

RE: THE GAME EGO PLAY......5

CONCEPT OF GOD
Buddha was silent about the existence or non-existence of God. It may be that since India was drowned in idol worship and anthropomorphism that a sudden step to monotheism would have been drastic and hence Buddha may have chosen to remain silent on the issue of God. He did not deny the existence of God. Buddha was once asked by a disciple whether God exists? He refused to reply. When pressed, he said that if you are suffering from a stomach ache would you concentrate on relieving the pain or studying the prescription of the physician. "It is not my business or yours to find out whether there is God – our business is to remove the sufferings of the world".
Buddhism provided Dhamma or the ‘impersonal law’ in place of God. However this could not satisfy the craving of human beings and the religion of self-help had to be converted into a religion of promise and hope. The Hinayana sect could not hold out any promise of external help to the people. The Mahayana sect taught that Buddha’s watchful and compassionate eyes are on all miserable beings, thus making a God out of Buddha. Many scholars consider the evolution of God within Buddhism as an effect of Hinduism.
Many Buddhists adopted the local god and thus the religion of ‘No-God’ was transformed into the religion of ‘Many-Gods’ – big and small, strong and weak and male and female. The ‘Man-God’ appears on earth in human form and incarnates from time to time. Buddha was against the caste-system prevalent in the Hindu society.

RE: THE GAME EGO PLAY......5

PHILOSOPHY OF BUDDHISM IS SELF – CONTRADICTORY:
As mentioned earlier, the main teachings of Buddhism are summarized in the Four Noble Truths:
(i) There is suffering and misery in life.
(ii) The cause of suffering and misery is desire.
(iii) Suffering and misery can be removed by removing desire.
(iv) Desire can be removed by following the Eight Fold Path.
This Philosophy of Buddhism is self-contradictory or self-defeating because the third truth says ‘suffering and misery can be removed by removing desire’ and the fourth truth says that 'desire can be removed by following the Eight Fold Path'.
Now, for any person to follow Buddhism he should first have the desire to follow the Four Noble Truths and the Eight Fold Path. The Third great Noble Truth says that desire should be removed. Once you remove desire, how can we follow the Fourth Noble truth i.e. follow the Eight Fold Path unless we have a desire to follow the Eight Fold Path. In short desire can only be removed by having a desire to follow the Eight Fold Path. If you do not follow the Eight Fold Path, desire cannot be removed. It is self contradicting as well as self-defeating to say that desire will only be removed by continuously having a desire.

RE: THE GAME EGO PLAY......5

TEACHINGS OF BUDDHA:
A. Noble Truths:
The principal teachings of Gautama Buddha can be summarized in what the Buddhists call the ‘Four Noble Truths’:
First – There is suffering and misery in life .
Second – The cause of this suffering and misery is desire.
Third – Suffering and misery can be removed by removing desire.
Fourth – Desire can be removed by following the Eight Fold Path.
B. The Noble Eight Fold Path:
(i) Right Views
(ii) Right Thoughts
(iii) Right Speech
(iv) Right Actions
(v) Right Livelihood
(vi) Right Efforts
(vii) Right Mindfulness
(viii) Right Meditation
C. Nirvana:
Nirvana' literally means "blowing out" or "extinction". According to Buddhism, this is the ultimate goal of life and can be described in various words. It is a cessation of all sorrows, which can be achieved by removing desire by following the Eight Fold Path.

B. Sanskrit Literature:
Sanskrit literature was preferred by the Mahayana. Sanskrit literature has not been reduced to a collection or in Cannon like the Pali literature. Thus much of the original Sanskrit literature has been lost. Some were translated into other languages like Chinese and are now being re-translated into Sanskrit.
1. Maha vastu: ‘Sublime Story’
Mahavastu is the most famous work in Sanskrit which has been restored from its Chinese translation. It consists of voluminous collection of legendary stories.
2. Lalitavistara
Lalitavistara is one of the holiest of the Sanskrit literature. It belongs to the first century C.E., 500 years after the death of Buddha. It contains the miracles which the superstition loving people have attributed to Buddha.

RE: THE GAME EGO PLAY......5

BUDDHIST SCRIPTURES:
Historical criticism has proved that the original teachings of Buddha can never be known. It seems that Gautama Buddha’s teachings were memorized by his disciples. After Buddha’s death a council was held at Rajagaha so that the words of Buddha could be recited and agreed upon. There were differences of opinion and conflicting memories in the council. Opinion of Kayshapa and Ananda who were prominent disciples of Buddha were given preference. A hundred years later, a second council at Vesali was held. Only after 400 years, after the death of Buddha were his teachings and doctrines written down. Little attention was paid regarding its authenticity, genuineness and purity.
Buddhist Scriptures can be divided into Pali and Sanskrit Literature:
A. Pali Literature :
The Pali literature was monopolized by the Hinayana sect of Buddhism.
Tri Pitaka
The most important of all Buddhist scriptures is the TRI-PITAKA which is in Pali text. It is supposed to be the earliest recorded Buddhist literature which was written in the 1st Century B.C.
