most likly an oportunity theif. they're harmless kids looking for a quick steal. just make some noise so they know your home. some noise that sounds like a shotgun should scare them
why havnt other apes evolved into humans? because evolving into humans is not some sort of goal an apes biology aspires to. we evolve to adapt and survive. fact is monkeys are good at living in trees and larger primates are good at hunting monkeys. humans are good at travelling long distances and creating weapons. which leads to the hypothesis that we evolved out of a desertification of forests. get it out of your head that there has to be some sort of deeper meaning to things. there is no creation just lots and lots of imperfections adding together over time in a perpetual cycle of death birth and survival.
