Netiquette

Hi Redex, yeah, sometimes our explanation is not clear that can cause people to misinterprete the meaning.teddybear

Netiquette

Thanks for the link chococherrie. Should have added those rules.

Hi plainlyjune , hahahhaaaa...me too except Rule 6

Netiquette

Parti, you always follow Rule 4, KISS.

Frank, courtesy should be practised not only on the net but in our daily life. But it's not easy on the net as there are all kinds of people around?

Netiquette

Thank you someonesvoicejee. Got these rules from an article published in our local daily. Quite interesting especially from what happened recently.

wafwotam , yeah I sting like the bee and will sting anything in sight. hahahhahahaa......but I seldom sting unless provoked. Besides I do not want to die and left my stinger in another's body.
Not worth it.

Netiquette

Recently I broke Rule 1. doh

Netiquette

wafwotam , lol...that was a bad experience for you and it was ridiculous for her to cut you off just for the capital letters.

When I first experienced internet, I didn't know that typing in capital letters has a meaning in the internet world until I read it somewhere online. Of course I never typed in capital letters as I wasn't used to it. As a teacher it's a no no. But started to use it after I knew the meaning and when I wanted to be heard. grin

RE: meaning behind your name

Hi chococherrie, did you mean real name or nickname here. Chinese have 3 characters in their names. The first is the family surname , 2nd is to blend with the 3rd, 3rd is the real name.

My middle name is Ching which means clear as in clear water. 3rd is Mei and this name is common for girls. Little girl is called Mei Mei. My real name is Ching Mei.

To argue or not to argue

Hi there Ariel, argument is good when we want our thoughts, ideas , dissatisfaction to be heard but when it become heated and illogical from the other party might as well walk away.

To argue or not to argue

gladiolus , thank you for liking my blog. Nothing interesting. Just my 2-cent worth. Sometimes argument is good for us to understand certain issues better or if in a relationship, it helps to understand the person better and their thoughts. But when an argument become heated, it’s not good especially with level headed people.

To argue or not to argue

Hi Richard, it’s true that sometimes argument can get things straight out. But it’s a waste of time arguing with people who just won’t listen and too egoist.

Thank you Parti. You are always the nice one around in CS.

To argue or not to argue

Bronze, this advice always work. If there’s no give and take, it will be a no- ending argument.

Viking, thanks for the thumb-up.

To argue or not to argue

Agreed with you Space. When we walk away, it doesn't mean they have won. It's just that we don't want to waste our energy arguing over trivial things .

To argue or not to argue

Nite nite. Will reply your comments 2moro. Now me off to my slumberland.

To argue or not to argue

Hi Virgo, thank you for the comment. Argumentative people can't stand silence. Keeping silence is a way to defeat them.

To argue or not to argue

You are welcome Lazly. I always believe in keeping silence when we are faced with people who just want to win in an argument.
