Make our own toasters, bicycles, tv's, utensils ad inifinitum... Seen as we create next to nothing, and consumer everything, then our future jobs surely lie in making things.
As for Marx, well, we'd need a working class first, which we don't have. We have a service-sector/pen-pushing petit-bourgeois, and then beneath we have a benefit class of untermenschen. The West has no, virtually no, industrious and productive working class.
