Hello LJ,Tattoos are extremely popular in my part of the globe,almost to the point of more youngsters having them than not,(particurlarly young women))and more women of all ages now getting them,i personally like to see 2 or 3 artistic ones on a woman,it would be totally normal for a woman of youre daughters age to get a tattoo,and no one would so much as raise an eyebrow here. Its really every one sees things from theyre own perspective regarding tattoos,i personally like them and have lots myself,no regrets either,,they really are no big deal these days I.M.O.As long as those who get them THINK THEM THROUGH properly first.

Hi Wallops,exactly,its quite hard to dismiss when someone you know well and trust is telling you. The incident i refer to happened in Pontefract,though im sure youd guessed that..
Never seen anything myself and for me to believe in such phenomena i would have to witness something first hand,,but i have a friend who had an interesting story. Hes a cab driver and was working late in the next town to where i live,he was driving to a pick up and travelling 40 mph when he sees a "monk" in the middle of the road appear from nowhere,directly in front of him giving him no chance to slow down,he hits the brakes in an effort to stop and the vehicles skids and screeches to a halt,,,convinced he,d knocked someone over he gets out only to find nothing,no trace at all of any person etc..He told me that the vision of the monk was so vivid that he believed it to be someone in fancy dress or suchlike after a night out,as it was a weekend and the town is renowned for its many pubs/clubs..He genuinely believed he,d hit a pedestrian but no trace of anything.. My friend is a very level headed honest guy and if he says that is what he saw and that is what happened i have no reason to disbelieve him..... Incidentally the town is quite historic and housed a large castle..
Im pretty confident that aspects of ones personality are shown via what they contribute on the blogs,even if someone was going to great lengths to avoid this they would still subconsciously give clues about themselves via what they say/dont say etc...I think..
