you have a gift for writng mystery,i can say that.that was lovely.glad your daugther felt apart of ireland.what brought her to derry in first place,was it her irish heritage r what?i,m sure she got some lovely photas,if not let me know,as have a few of free derry corner and all,if she wud like them.bloody sunday was a day we will never forget in derry,i remember as a child,the fear and panick in derry,as we just got word of the all the people shot,my brother and dad was at the march,but no body for seen this atrocesy!like many in northern ireland it was unjust and infair,,,,but thankfully,things has settled down in derry, i mean trouble wise,and people seem to be living more with each other,i mean religion wise,well of course there alwys be the minority that won,t,but with having kids being brought up here,i like to bring them up,to respect all,no matter of religion.Times were rough back then,god i cud tell u some stories as a kid lol,and teenager being brought up in it,and my mum and dad rared 10 of us,,5 boys and 5 gurls,,but they brought us up,to respect all,and i thank god for that,as i think history can repeat itself just by generation to generation,but i,m proud to be irish and will be till the day i die,and god rest all the irish people that did died through the trouble and stife of british rule,etc,.thanks for the blog,was refreshing to read ,and give ur daughter a hug from me,,from a aul derry woman lol,take care
