To Socrates, First off, May I suggest that you refrain from telling me what I should say or do.
That being said I know the words I chose.
The stories I cited are but only two out of a slew of stories that exist all over the world. And it goes so deep , in a way that I doubt you will ever understand. All over the world.
Yes I know there are men who do treat women on equal footing, but It is my feeling that they are not in the majority.
Yes we are all human and that's what it's all about. That's what I teach my kids. But I also am not naive as to how things are in the world. Especially here in the US.
Okay , I'm talking about people from far away. Like Celebs or maybe that person we see at the coffee shop every day. Crushes like that. People you will never interact with.
That's what I'm saying, I don't know how you handle it. It just seems on one hand wrong when kids who are born here of Immigrant parents are told they have to go to the country of their parents, when here is all they know.
This is one issue that I can't say what they should do. I'm the child of an immigrant. She has her green card as did my older sister. I know why my mother stayed in this country. Sad to say when you have an autistic child , the US is one of the best places to be for services.Especially in the 70's.
Through my eyes
Again I think the point is missed. It happens.
